Important safety step
Deletion uses a 2-hour 5-minute hold.
The first exact-email confirmation records the hold and blocks new uploads and workspace writes. Nothing is deleted automatically. Cancel before cleanup starts, or return after the shown time and explicitly confirm again to begin permanent cleanup.
How to request deletion
- Open account deletion settings and sign in to the Contents AIdol account you want to delete.
- Review the active request status and type the account email exactly as displayed.
- Request deletion. Keep the safety time shown in Settings.
- Cancel while cleanup has not started, or return after the hold and explicitly continue permanent deletion.
What account deletion covers
- Your Contents AIdol account, profile, and sessions
- Owned solo workspaces, including settings and memberships
- Projects, versions, asset records, and owned stored files
- Your memberships in workspaces owned by other accounts
Export account or workspace JSON from Settings first if you need a portable copy. Deletion cannot be undone after cleanup completes. Security, audit, and cost-reconciliation records may remain only with account and workspace identifiers removed. The final legal retention schedule must be published before launch.
Resolve owned shared workspaces first
Contents AIdol rejects account deletion while a workspace you own still has other members. Transfer ownership or remove those members before requesting account deletion. This prevents one person from unexpectedly deleting a shared workspace.
